A Modern Website for a Modern Audience

Hello and welcome to Ewell URC's new website!

You may notice some content may be similar to the old one, but for all intents & purposes, it's a brand new start! Without going into too much detail, our previous website was missing much of the functionality & interactivity users have come to expect in this digital age.

We wanted this website to reflect the hope, love & engaged community that Ewell URC (& its members & friends) was built on.

Wix also provides a platform for surface-level users to update/improve the website without an intricate knowledge of coding or web content management systems. In this section for example, a blog style layout is handy to communicate updates or church statements easily.

It is yet to be decided how these can integrate with existing channels, such as our CONTACT newsletter, but the platform is now much more accessible for members & our community.

I mean, look! Even I can post an image:

or a Gif:

Or I could post a video from Youtube, Vimeo or Facebook.

Or even 'embed' code from other websites if I wanted a snippet of their functionality or layout of information.

All of which would have been very technical to achieve using the past XHTML format. Like God's love, the possibilities are limitless! Add yourself as a User to stay updated!
